National Police Agency (NPA)
The National Police force is a member of the Inter-Ministerial Liaison Committee (Task Force).  The Task Force implements the National Action Plan on Measures to Combat Trafficking in Persons.

Gender Equality Bureau - Cabinet Office
The Gender Equality Bureau was established in 2001 within the Cabinet Office and given responsibility for planning and coordinating the gender equality policies of the Japanese Government as a whole.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Commission on Human Security
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs researches instances of human rights violations.

Ministry of Justice - Criminal Affairs Bureau
The Criminal Affairs Bureau handles matters concerning control and supervision of public prosecutors (by the Minister of Justice) with regard to the exercise of prosecutorial power, as well as the drafting and interpretation of criminal laws, and matters concerning extradition and international assistance in criminal investigations.

Ministry of Justice - Immigration Bureau
The Immigration Bureau is responsible for administration of immigration control, including examination of foreign and Japanese nationals entering or leaving Japan, control of status of residence of foreign nationals residing in Japan, matters concerning deportation, recognition of refugee status and  registration of resident foreign nationals.
