Campaign against Child Trafficking is conducted every year on December 12 by the Asia ACTs’s members in seven countries in South East Asia to commemorate the adoption of the UN Protocol to Prevent, Punish, Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children, supplementing to the UN Convention against Transitional Organized Crime in Palermo, Italy on 12 December 2000.
Since 2003, Asia ACTs which its partners are in seven countries in South East Asia like: Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Burma have been conducting the campaign against child trafficking every year at the same time and the same theme in order to lobby the government of each country to recognize December 12 as a National Day against Child Trafficking.
For Cambodia, The December 12 Campaign against Child Trafficking was conducted by 12 partners of Cambodia'a Anti-Child Trafficking (Cambodia ACTs) and End Child Prostitution, Abuse and Trafficking in Cambodia (ECPAT-Cambodia) networks. This campaign was conducted in 12 different places with the participation of local authority, community people, especially children with the foot parade as well as traditional performance, drawing and Q&A related to trafficking.
The 12 NGOs are:

3. HOMELAND, Kamrieng district, Battambang province
4. Project against Domestic Violence (PADV), Saang district, Kandal province
5. Children and Love Association (CLA), Mesang district, Prey Veng province
6. Cambodian Children Against Starvation and Violence Association (CCASVA), Prey Veng district, Prey Veng province
7. Vulnerable Children Assistance Organisation (VCAO), Angkor Borei district, Takeo province
8. Children Support Foundation (CSF), Banlung district, Ratanakiri province
9. The Khmer Child Rights and Vocational Training Organization (KTO), Borseth district, Kampong Speu province
10. Rural Aid Organisation (RAO), Svay Rieng Town
11. Santi-Sena (SSO), Chantrea district (Bavet), Svay Rieng province
12. Prumvihear Thor (PVT) , Pursat Town.
