A joint meeting of the the Clearwater Area Task Force on Human Trafficking and the Tampa Bay Rescue and Restore Regional Coalition is set.  The Clearwater Area Task Force is a DOJ funded collaboration between victim services providers lead and law enforcement to address the growing problem of human trafficking in our area; lead agencies in the task force are the Clearwater Police Department and World Relief. 

The Tampa Bay Rescue and Restore Regional Coalition is a new federally-funded coalition through HHS to raise public awareness of human trafficking; the lead agency in the coalition is the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking.  The Rescue and Restore Coalition and the Clearwater Area Task Force believe that we can be more successful by leveraging our resources and eliminating duplication of services.
