The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) enhances Australian law enforcement agencies’ capacity to counter serious and organized criminal activity by providing high quality intelligence support and working collaboratively with partner agencies.
The ACC is conducting a special intelligence operation into the trafficking of people for sexual exploitation. Working closely with Federal, State and Territory law enforcement agencies, the ACC provides further intelligence that will complement investigations. Through the use of the ACC’s special coercive powers, partner agencies have access to a wider field of intelligence on this area of criminality.
