Activities

Child Rights Foundation (CRF) is a local Cambodian, child-focused, non-profit, non political and non-religious non-governmental organization. It works in conformity with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

CRF Vision:

Every child in Cambodia is born and grows up in a peaceful environment, is healthy, educated and enjoys his/her rights to participate in matters benefiting his/her life and the whole society. This can be achieved through the mobilization of multi-resources, commitments and real actions as well as by encouraging all individuals to take personal and collective responsibilities toward the common cause of children.

CRF Mission:

Working for the understanding of children's rights and needs through awareness raising and advocacy at all levels.
Empowering children and promoting their participation and voices in the society.
Assisting the government in the implementation of the UNCRC and monitoring its implementation in Cambodia .

Main Activities:

Child Rights and Commercial and Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) prevention training for teachers.
Child Rights and CSEC prevention training in schools.
Campaign against CSEC in schools.
Children and Young People (CYP) participation in monitoring the implementation of UNCRC in Cambodia.
Child Rights and TSEC prevention sensitization workshop for teachers in 5 schools in Kandal province.
Children's session on Child Rights and TSEC prevention conducted by children's club in the 5 schools.
Campaigns against TSEC in the 5 schools.
Reprinting the Manual on Rights and Responsibilities of Children and Youth which is including TSEC prevention and developing the Child Rights leaflet and poster and Training Module on Child Rights.
Workshop on Child Rights and relation issues including TSEC for core trainers and teachers in 40 primary schools and in Teachers Training Colleges in 3 provinces.
Capacity Building for Children and Young People Movement for Child Rights.
Development of Children and Youth Led organization Directory in Cambodia.
Development of Strategic Plan for Children and Young People Movement for Child Rights in promoting UNCRC and monitoring the UNCRC implementation.
Development of guidelines on how to promote UNCRC and how to monitor the UNCRC implementation for children and youth.
