The Asia Pacific Migration Research Network (APMRN) recently published a report entitled “Promoting a Process to Encourage Ratification of the 1990 UN Convention on the Rights of all Migrant Workers and Members of their Family: Bangladesh, Korea and New Zealand”.  This report is prepared in the framework of UNESCO’s activities to promote the ratification of the International Convention on Migrants’ Rights (ICMR) in countries in the Asia Pacific region, as part of its commitment to ensuring the human rights of migrants. UNESCO has made this one of its major priorities since the beginning of this decade.
The current report is based upon an action project to promote ratification of the Convention in Bangladesh, Korea and New Zealand.
