The Presbyterian Church of the United States Condemns International Trafficking in Children
July 20, 2006
The Synod Overture condemning International Trafficking in Children and seeking to educate and raise awareness was overwhelmingly adopted by committee and approved by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
The presbytery of Susquehanna Valley & 5 other presbyteries in the United States concurred with the overture. Three Advisory Committees also recommended approval: on Social Witness Concerns, Women's Concerns and Racial Ethnic Concerns.
